Ariadne Christina Tray | Leather

Jeanette Morrow's Ariadne Christina Tray is a small butler tray glazed in their Leather Glaze. The Leather glaze is. In Greek art, Ariadne is associated with the red thread that she gives to Theseus to lead him safely out of the Labyrinth. The medallion is molded from an antique Grand Tour intaglio.

All sizes are approximate and due to the nature of the pieces, slight imperfections should be expected (and embraced!) All pieces are hand built out of stoneware and glazed using only lead free and food safe glazes.
